ROCHESTER, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging David
Roy Jones, 52, formerly of Rochester, NY, with two counts of production of
child pornography. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in

defendant coerced minor Victim 1 to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the
purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct. Jones saved and stored
the pictures and videos on several electronic media devices.
Subsequently, on July 9, 2006, Jones once again coerced
minor Victim 1, as well as a second victim, minor Victim 2, to engage in
sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of
such conduct. Jones once again saved and stored the pictures and videos on
several electronic media devices.
