The Cleveland Division of the FBI and
the Cleveland Police Department are asking the public to help identify an
unknown male suspect wanted in connection with multiple rapes and a homicide in
Cleveland, Ohio.
The first attack took place on May 3,
1996. The female victim was abducted, raped, shot, and left for dead. The
victim survived her wounds.
Then, on February 2, 1997, the body of a
female was discovered under a parked truck in a secluded truck lot. The victim
had sustained severe head trauma.
On June 18, 1998, another attack
occurred as the victim walked home from a friend’s house.
Thirteen years later, on December 8,
2010, a female victim was approached at a bus stop by the same unknown suspect,
who asked for the time. The unknown suspect then raped the female at gunpoint.
Law enforcement investigation in
Cleveland has led police to link these attacks, and they all occurred within
the same half-mile radius of each other.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to
$10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual
responsible for these crimes.
