William N. Neiheiser was sentenced to 37 months in prison, federal officials announced today.
Neiheiser, 62, of Gates Mills, Ohio, pleaded guilty last year to four charges related to the Cuyahoga County corruption investigation.
He pleaded guilty to two counts conspiracy to commit bribery in federally funded programs that involved Reliance Mechanical contracts at MetroHealth Medical Center and projects at CMHA, according to court documents. He also pleaded guilty to one count each of conspiracy to commit bribery in federally funded programs and Hobbs Act conspiracy, related to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Justice facility.
This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ann C. Rowland, Antoinette T. Bacon, and Nancy L. Kelley following investigation by the Cleveland office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Revenue Service.
