ATF, NYPD Offer Up To $25,000 For Information About Central Park Explosion



NEW YORK – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the New York City Police Department (NYPD) have announced a combined reward of up to $25,000 (up to $12,500 from ATF, up to $10,000 from NYPD, and up to $2,500 from Crime Stoppers) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the explosion which took place on July 3, 2016, at approximately 10:52 a.m. in Central Park, in close proximity to the 60th Street and 5th Avenue entrance. The explosion resulted in a severe injury to one victim.

In addition, ATF and NYPD are calling on any individuals who may have taken photographs or video at the location of the explosion prior to July 3, 2016, to provide copies to investigators.
