Las Cruces, NM - On 11/04/2016 a Parole Violation warrant
was generated for the apprehension of Guy Russell Bell. The 27 year old
fugitive also had a probation warrant and a history of Unlawful Carrying of a
Deadly Weapon, Dangerous Drugs, Battery, Larceny, and Tampering with Evidence.
On December 2, 2016, the United States Marshals Service
requested assistance through local public media to broadcast, print or blog the
information on violent fugitive Guy Bell.
On December 3, 2016, Bell was stopped in town on the 1400
block of South Almendra by the Las Cruces Police Department for a traffic
violation and was identified as the wanted fugitive. Fugitive Bell was also
positively identified as a local gang member. Bell was apprehended and then
booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center without incident.
