High Point, NC – On February 26, 2015 at around 3:00PM,
Dominiq Marquan DeLoach, a 18 year old, Black, Male, was arrested by the U.S.
Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and High Point Police Department. On
February 26, 2015, arrest warrants were obtained for Dominiq Marquan DeLoach
for Homicide, Robbery with a Firearm, First Degree Burglary and Possession of a
Firearm by a Felon.
It is alleged that 57 year old Dennis Wayne Williams was
shot to death on the night of February 25, 2015 after answering the door of his
home in northern High Point. At the time of his death, Williams was answering
the knocks of a frantic neighbor, Michael Scott Moore, who was attempting to
escape a home invasion robbery at his own home. It was around that time when
Williams was shot by one of the suspects of the robbery. He died a short time
later.
Members of the JFTF and the High Point Police Department
Street Crimes Unit, arrested DeLoach after observing him leave a High Point
residence. DeLoach was taken to the Guilford County Jail and is under a $1
Million dollar bond.
