Robbery of Capital One Bank Branch in Houston


Bank Robber Wore a Patch or Gauze Covering His Left Eye

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help to identify a man who robbed a Houston area-bank with a patch or a piece of gauze covering his left eye. The robbery occurred at the Capital One located at 19619 Tomball Parkway in Houston, Texas, on July 7, 2012. Bank surveillance photos are below.

At approximately 12:20 p.m., the one-eyed bandit entered the bank and handed the teller a threatening note that demanded money. The teller gave the robber some cash. No one was physically hurt. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a white sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The man is described as a black male about 5’6” tall. He wore a patch or piece of white gauze covering his left eye during the robbery. He also wore black sunglasses, a white T-shirt, and blue shorts.
