OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special
Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Office of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation, along with Bixby Police Department and Tulsa Police Department,
is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the subjects in six unsolved
bank robberies.
These robberies have occurred from May
2011 to March 2012 and have been in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. A brief summary
of each robbery is listed below. Any photographs from these robberies are
attached with the summary.
Commerce Bank
6130 E. 81st St.
May 6, 2911
The suspect calmly walked into the bank
and presented a threatening demand note to the bank teller. The bank employee
complied with the demand note, and the suspect walked out of the bank with an
undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as a white
male, mid 30s, 5’10” tall, weighing 170-180 lbs., wearing a cowboy hat, western
shirt, and blue jeans.
This suspect is also suspected in a
robbery that occurred in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
IBC Bank
2808 E. 101st St.
May 28, 2011
The suspect walked into the bank and
pointed a handgun at the teller. He demanded money and fled with an unknown
amount of cash. The suspect was described as a white male, 25-35 years old,
5’5”-5’9” tall, weighing 150-170 lbs., with blue eyes. He wore a dirty, white
hooded pullover shirt; light blue jeans; and a camouflage mask. He was last
seen driving away in a tan-colored four-door vehicle, possibly a Honda or
Acura.
No photos are available of the suspect.

September 9, 2011
Three individuals entered the bank, with
guns pointed, yelling at customers and employees. One suspect jumped the
counter. The suspects grabbed cash from the drawer and quickly fled to a silver
Dodge Caravan. The suspects were described as three black males ages 20-25. The
minivan had previously been reported stolen. Police later found the vehicle
abandoned at 5118 E. 25th Place.

Union

September 16, 2011
Three suspects entered the bank yelling
and pointing firearms at customers and employees. One suspect fired a shot
through the glass where a bank teller was standing and then jumped through the
glass over the counter. The suspects took cash from the bank and fled in a Jeep
Cherokee, which was later found abandoned by police. The vehicle was previously
reported as stolen.

Bixby, Oklahoma
December 24, 2011
The suspect displayed a firearm and
demanded money from bank teller. The suspect was described as white male, late-
20s to early 30s in age, 5’9”–6’0” tall, 150-170 lbs. The suspect was wearing a
camouflage face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and dark-colored
shoes. The suspect departed the bank on foot.
Arvest Bank

March 9, 2012
The suspect handed the lobby teller a
demand note, obtained an unknown amount of cash, and fled the bank on foot. The
suspect was described as a black male, 35-45 years of age, 6’0”–6’3” tall,
140-150 lbs. He wore a Champion spark plug ball cap, gray long-sleeved shirt,
and blue jeans.

The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers
up to $2,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and/or
