Sentences

Nelvi Gutierrez–Zuchitez, aka Melvin Gutierrez–Zuchitez 25, of Guatemala, who was arrested in Natrona County, was sentenced by Federal District Court Alan B. Johnson on September 1, 2011, for illegal re–entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Gutierrez–Zuchitez received time served plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the US Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Denis Abrigo–Melara, 31, of Mexico, who was arrested in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on August 31, 2011, for illegal re–entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Abrigo–Melara received eight months of imprisonment, was ordered to pay a $100.00 assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the US Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Leo F. Johns, 38, of Gillette, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on August 31, 2011, for felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition. Johns received 120 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
