Cincinnati, OH – The U.S. Marshals’ Southern Ohio Fugitive
Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested fugitive Ronald Schwarm on October
16, 2015 on an outstanding warrant from the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court,
Cincinnati, Ohio on an indictment charging him with two counts of Rape, two
counts of Sexual Battery and one count of Gross Sexual Imposition.
Schwarm, 66, was wanted by the Colerain Township Police
Department and indicted by a Hamilton County Grand Jury for allegedly raping
and sexually assaulting several juvenile female victims in Colerain Township.
SOFAST located and arrested Schwarm in the area of the 10000 block of Fay Lane,
in Colerain Township, Ohio, where he was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently in being detained in the Hamilton County Jail in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
Cincinnati’s SOFAST is a fugitive focused; U.S. Marshals
Service led task force consisting of local, state, and federal authorities
including the Cincinnati Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office,
Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Colerain Township Police Department, and the
Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.
U.S. Marshals are the nation’s primary fugitive hunting
organization and capture more federal fugitives each year than all other law
enforcement agencies combined.
