Jackson, Miss.– Sharae Threadgill, 21, of Georgia, was
sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan III to 238 months in
federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for aiding and
abetting two business robberies and the use of firearms to facilitate the
robberies, announced U.S. Attorney Mike Hurst and Special Agent in Charge
Michele Sutphin with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Threadgill was also ordered to pay a $1500
fine.
On March 25, 2019, Threadgill aided another person in
robberies of a Jimmy John’s restaurant in Meridian and of a McDonald’s in
Brandon. Threadgill drove the vehicle
used during both robberies and provided a firearm used in both robberies. She was subsequently arrested by Warren
County Sheriff deputies in Vicksburg.
On April 16, 2019, Threadgill was charged federally with aiding and abetting two business
robberies and the use of firearms to facilitate the robberies. She pleaded guilty before Judge Jordan on
October 4, 2019.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Warren County
Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lynn Murray.
