Bureau of Justice Statistics Releases Data on Human Trafficking



Federal human-trafficking laws prohibit the coercion of persons to perform labor, services or commercial sex acts. In Federal Prosecution of Human-Trafficking Cases, 2015, BJS presents data on prosecution of human trafficking in 2015, which showed a 41-percent increase from 2011.
