BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that Daniel Sasiadek, 64, of Buffalo, NY, pleaded guilty to
production of child pornography before U.S. District Judge Elizabeth
Wolford. The charge carries a mandatory
minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 years, and a fine of
$250,000.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Marie P. Grisanti, who is handling
the case, stated that between July 2004 and October 2004, the defendant
produced child pornography of a child who was approximately six years old.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Gary
Loeffert.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 24, 2018, at 2:30 p.m.
before Judge Wolford.
