U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force Arrests Sex Assault Fugitive from Petersburg, West Virginia



Martinsburg, WV – On June 16, 2016 members of the Marshals Service’s fugitive task force in the Fort Worth, Texas area arrested Issac Kennedy,35, formerly of Petersburg, West Virginia, on Big Fork Rd in Fort Worth, Texas.

On September 15, 2014 Issac Kennedy was charged by the West Virginia State Police in Petersburg, West Virginia with Sexual Assault by a Parent or Guardian. When they were unable to locate Kennedy on October 30, 2015 the warrant was referred to the Marshals Service’s Mountain State Fugitive Task Force for apprehension.

Marshals quickly determined Issac Kennedy had fled West Virginia and was probably living with his family in Texas or Arizona. Leads were sent to Marshal Service led fugitive units in those areas. Initial attempts were unsuccessful. In March of 2016 the task force then released Kennedy’s information to the local media in an attempt to develop leads. In June of 2016 the public came thru and provided the information needed that lead to Issac Kennedy’s arrest in Texas
