ATF Offers Up To $5,000 Reward in El Paso Fire Investigation



EL PASO – Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Robert Champion, of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Dallas Field Division and Chief Samuel Peña of the El Paso Fire Department announced today a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for starting a fire inside the Faith Assembly of God Church, located at 11455 Turner Road, El Paso, TX. The fire occurred on November 30, 2014 and caused an estimated $200,000 in damages.

The ATF El Paso III Field Office and the El Paso Fire Marshal’s Office have been investigating the fire since November 30, 2014. The public’s assistance is requested in developing information on whoever is responsible for starting the fire at the Faith Assembly of God Church in El Paso.
