NH Fugitive of the Week Surrenders to Rockingham County Sheriff's Office



Concord, NH – Yesterday morning, Fugitive of the Week, Jacob Tremblay, surrendered at the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office in Brentwood. Tremblay, 20, who was last known to be residing in the Rochester, NH area was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for Probation Violations, stemming from his original convictions and sentence for Assault, Criminal Threatening and Intimidation.

Jacob Tremblay was featured as last week’s “Fugitive of the Week” after the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in an effort to locate and arrest Tremblay. As part of the U.S. Marshal’s fugitive investigation, Tremblay was aired last Thursday, February 20th as the 'Fugitive of the Week'. The 'Fugitive of the Week' is broadcast on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch and is prominently featured on the internet. Tremblay surrendered yesterday at the Sheriff’s office after seeing himself on WMUR-TV.

Since the inception of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 5,523 arrests. These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 7 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
