OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special
Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI), announces the robbery of the City National Bank inside the
Walmart at 2400 S. Country Club Rd. in El Reno, Oklahoma.
At approximately 5:05 p.m. this evening,
an unknown male entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money.
The robber left the bank through the east entrance doors of the Walmart
carrying a black portfolio. He was last seen driving from the Walmart parking
lot in a 1998-2002 white Mercury Marquis. No one was injured in the robbery.
The robber was described as a white
male, approximately 5’10” tall, with a medium build, in his late 30s or early
40s. He has short, brownish, thinning hair and was last seen wearing a white,
long-sleeved, collared, office-style shirt; dark slacks, eyeglasses; and a
silver wedding band on his left ring finger.
This robbery is being investigated by
the FBI and the El Reno Police Department.

The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers
a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the identification
and/or arrest of any individual robbing a member bank.
