The FBI announces the arrest without
incident today (June 15, 2012) by the South Florida Violent Crimes Fugitive
Task Force in Hallandale Beach, Florida, of James Francis Deans, 27, of
Hallandale Beach, Florida, in connection with the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank
branch located at 6810 Miramar Parkway in Miramar, Florida, yesterday.
Deans is in federal custody and is
expected to face federal charges. It is anticipated that his initial appearance
will be Monday in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The FBI, Miramar PD, Hallandale Beach
PD, and the South Florida Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force continue their
investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
