FBI Seeks Woman Suspected of Robbing Bank in New Brighton


On June 18, 2012 at approximately 2:50 p.m., a lone, white female robbed a U.S. Bank branch located 2299 Palmer Drive in New Brighton, Minnesota. The robber entered the bank and waited in the teller line. After a short wait, the robber approached the victim teller and presented a note to the teller, demanding cash. The note also implied that the robber possessed a gun.

The victim teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided the robber with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The robber took the U.S. currency, placed it into a small backpack, and left the bank on foot.

The robber was further described as being approximately 5’8” in height and weighing 180 lbs. She wore a grey sweater, a dark-colored fishing hat, dark pants, and carried a small backpack.

U.S. Bank is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the conviction of this bank robber. Anyone with information concerning this robbery should contact the FBI at (763) 569-8540.
