Attempted Robbery of TCF Bank Branch in Minnetonka

On February 18, 2011, at approximately , an attempted bank robbery occurred at the TCF Bank branch located at
1801 Plymouth Road
in Minnetonka, Minnesota. A man entered the bank and stood in line to wait for an available teller. The robber eventually approached a teller and told the teller to give him all of her 50s and 100s. The teller walked away from the teller counter without providing any money to the robber. The robber then left the bank. No weapon was observed or threatened.

The robber is described as a white male, about 35 years old, about 6'2" tall, and weighing about 240 pounds. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a grey Nike hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, red Minnesota Twins baseball cap, and white sneakers.
