FirstNet Launches Podcast Series

The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) has launched a new podcast series, Public Safety First. In the third and most recent episode, FirstNet Public Safety Advocacy Executive Director Dave Buchanan speaks with Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan of Clark County, Nev., about the complexities of emergency response in Las Vegas and the unique capabilities FirstNet may provide during major planned events or incidents. Buchanan also discusses Clark County's efforts to transition to FirstNet, including the decision-making process involved and the appeal FirstNet will pose to both older and younger generations of firefighters.
