NIJ's Director, Dr. David B. Muhlhausen, "Evidence-Based Policing: The
Importance of Research and Evaluation" convenes a panel of leading
practitioners and researchers to discuss evidence-based policing for the next
generation of policing leadership in the United States. Panelists for the June
22 event will draw from on-the-ground experience to discuss evidence-based
policing as it relates to law enforcement training curricula, practitioner-led
trials, research clearinghouses and other topics.
