Register Now for Seminar/Webinar on Evidence-Based Policing


Moderated by NIJ's Director, Dr. David B. Muhlhausen, "Evidence-Based Policing: The Importance of Research and Evaluation" convenes a panel of leading practitioners and researchers to discuss evidence-based policing for the next generation of policing leadership in the United States. Panelists for the June 22 event will draw from on-the-ground experience to discuss evidence-based policing as it relates to law enforcement training curricula, practitioner-led trials, research clearinghouses and other topics.
Panelists include:
  • Sergeant Ryan Keck, coordinator, Oregon Center for Policing Excellence
  • Chuck Tyree, program manager, New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services
  • Dr. Angela Hawken, director and founder, BetaGov
  • Louis Dekmar, chief, LaGrange (Ga.) Police Department and president, International Association of Chiefs of Police
