The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Violent Crimes Task
Force and the Holliston Police Department have identified and arrested the
masked male and female allegedly responsible for an armed robbery that took
place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at approximately 1:40 p.m.. The holdup
occurred at TD Bank on 746 Washington Street, in Holliston, Massachusetts.
Last night at approximately 6:30 p.m., the FBI, with
assistance from the Pottsville, Pennsylvania Police Department, safely took
Oliver W. Walsh, 30, into custody without incident. Walsh, originally from
Hopedale, Massachusetts, was charged with armed bank robbery while masked and
possession of a firearm in commission of a felony. On June 19, 2018, a state
warrant for his arrest was issued by Framingham District Court.
Earlier this morning at approximately 10:45 a.m., the FBI
Violent Crimes Task Force and Holliston Police Department, with the assistance
of the Boston Police Department, took Patricia S. Desena, 33, of Milford,
Massachusetts, safely into custody without incident. She is charged with armed
bank robbery while masked and possession of a firearm in commission of a
felony. She’s scheduled to be arraigned later today at Framingham District
Court.
In May, the FBI announced it was offering a monetary reward
of up to $10,000 for information leading to their arrests.
“We’re extremely grateful that we were able to apprehend
these individuals before anyone got hurt, and we’d like to thank the public for
its assistance in this case. Because of the courage of a concerned citizen
coming forward we were able to identify those we believe to be responsible, and
a reward will be paid,” said Harold H. Shaw, special agent in charge, FBI
Boston Division.
“This investigation was the epitome of teamwork and collaboration
among many law enforcement agencies. This relentless effort, combined with the
public’s assistance, has resulted in a tremendous outcome for the community of
Holliston. The Holliston Police Department is dedicated to keeping our
community safe, and we hope that the arrests of these two dangerous individuals
reflect our unwavering commitment to our residents,” added Chief Matthew Stone
of the Holliston Police Department.

captured and can be found here. It’s alleged that Walsh is Suspect #1 and
Desena is Suspect #2.
No further information is being released at this time. All
