Drug Fugitive Arrested by the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force



Martinsburg, WV - On June 28, 2016, the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force - comprised of members from the United States Marshals Service, West Virginia State Police, Shepherdstown Police Department, and Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office - assisted the Martinsburg Police Department in arresting 13 known drug dealers in the panhandle area, by mid-day there were six subjects still at large wanted on various drug distribution charges. One of those outstanding fugitives was Nicholas Ailshie, 22, of Virginia Ave, Martinsburg, West Virginia. Ailshie was wanted on two counts of distribution of heroin.

The fugitive task force continued their efforts in locating Nicholas Ailshie. According to interviews conducted by officers, Ailshie learned he was wanted thru social media posts release after the initial arrests were made. Ailshie made attempts to remain at large but on June 30, 2016 Deputy U.S. Marshals and a deputized Martinsburg City Police officer caught up with him. Nicholas Ailshie was arrested out of a car in the parking lot of Fed Ex located off G.M. Access Road in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Ailshie is currently in the Eastern Regional Jail on his charges.

“Our fugitive task force greatly enhances state and local agencies ability to serve their warrants. These arrests protect the community. When dangerous criminals are locked up that is potentially one less victim, drug deal or fatal overdose our community has to endure.” Ulrich said.

The Mountain State Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) is a U.S. Marshals Service lead fugitive unit comprised of Deputy U.S. Marshals, working with state and local officers deputized by the Marshals Service.

The following State and Local agencies currently have deputized officers on the MSFTF: West Virginia State Police, Martinsburg City Police Department, Shepherdstown Police Department, Charles Town Police Department, Berkeley County, Jefferson County, and Morgan County Sheriff’s Offices.

                1. Tashawna Mack, 26, of Circle Dr, Halethorpe, MD
2. Tyrone Yates, 21, of N. Raleigh St, Martinsburg, WV
3. Patrick Duggan, 39, of S. Queen St, Martinsburg, WV
4. Genn Radcliff, 59, of S. Raleigh St, Martinsburg, WV
5. Chad Berry, 29, of Ranson, WV

The primary mission of the U.S. Marshals led task forces is to locate and capture fugitives charged with violent crimes, drug crimes, sex offenders and other violent felony offenses.
