Nomination Process Now Open for Congressional Badge of Bravery
Every
day, federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement officers engage in
exceptional acts of bravery while in the line of duty. Often, such acts place
the officers involved at personal risk of injury or result in their sustaining
a physical injury. To honor these exceptional acts of bravery, the CBOB awards,
administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, were established through the
Law Enforcement Congressional Badge of Bravery Act of 2008. The CBOB nomination
period runs from Dec. 15, 2015, through Feb. 15, 2016. All applications must be
submitted through the online application system at https://badgeofbravery.ncjrs.gov/NominationForm.aspx.
Visit the website at https://badgeofbravery.ncjrs.gov/help.html

the process, you can email AskCBOB@usdoj.gov
