Pennsylvania Burglary Suspect Arrested in Winston-Salem by U.S. Marshals



Winston-Salem, NC – This morning at 11:15 AM, Sylvia Annett Davis, a 37 year old, Black Female, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF). Davis was wanted by the Reading City Police Department in Reading, Pennsylvania for 16 counts of Burglary.

The JFTF conducted surveillance and information was obtained that Davis was at 2406 Markwood Lane, Apartment C in Winston Salem. Members of the JFTF surrounded the residence and Davis was arrested without incident. Davis is being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center pending extradition back to Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
