“Kevin A. Kovacs, a former longtime Beavercreek police officer,
was arrested this morning on federal charges of producing, distributing,
receiving, transporting and possessing child pornography,” said U.S. Attorney
David M. DeVillers. “Additionally, Kovacs is charged with tampering with a
witness or informant.
Kovacs appeared in federal court at 1:30pm today and is
scheduled to appear again at 1:30pm tomorrow for a detention hearing. This
investigation remains ongoing. If you have any information related to this
