United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that a Pine
Ridge, South Dakota, man convicted of Aggravated Sexual Abuse was sentenced by
Jeffrey L. Viken, U.S. District Court Judge.
Isadore White Calf, age 56, was sentenced on January 29,
2020, to 20 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised
release, and ordered to pay a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime
Victims Fund.
White Calf was indicted for the charge by a federal grand
jury in July 2018. The charge related to
White Calf forcibly sexually assaulting a female in February 2017 at Pine
Ridge.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney
Megan Poppen prosecuted the case.
White Calf was immediately turned over to the custody of the
U.S. Marshals Service.
