BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that Kory Doyle, 33, of Warsaw, NY, who was convicted of
possession of child pornography, was sentenced to serve 36 months in prison by
Chief U.S District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo, who handled the
case, stated that on September 5, 2017, investigators found the defendant in
possession of child pornography on multiple computers, hard drives, and
cellular telephones. Doyle downloaded the images and videos from various
websites. Some of the images and videos depicted prepubescent minors under 12
years old, violence, and the sexual abuse of an infant.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by Federal
Bureau of Investigation, Buffalo Office, under the direction of Special
Agent-in-Charge Gary Loeffert, and the New York State Police, under the
direction of Major Edward Kennedy.
