Rochester, N.Y. -- U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr.
announced today that Jacob Disanto, of Brockport, NY, who was convicted of
participating in a conspiracy to distribute marijuana and possessing a firearm
in furtherance of the marijuana distribution conspiracy, was sentenced to five
years in prison by U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Noto, who handled the case,
stated that the defendant and co-defendant Juan Morales were stopped for
speeding by a Brockport Police Officer in a vehicle being driven by Disanto.
During the search of the two men and their vehicle, officers found “dime” size
bags of marijuana, and a loaded .22 caliber revolver.
