U.S. Marshals Add East Mountain Murder Suspects to New Mexico's Most Wanted

Albuquerque, NM - Monday, October 13, 2014, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Detectives identified Danny Trujillo and Ignacio E. Gallegos as murder suspects in this weekend’s East Mountain murder of 26 year old Eloi Leyba. Leyba was discovered Friday morning near mile marker 5 on Crest Road, by a motorist.

Danny Trujillo, 32, and Ignacio Gallegos, 25, are both wanted and have outstanding warrants for murder. United States Marshals have added Trujillo and Gallegos to New Mexico’s Most Wanted Violent fugitives.

The United States Marshals Service, South West Investigative Fugitive Team task force (SWIFT), and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate Trujillo and Gallegos and are asking for the public’s assistance. Gallegos and Trujillo are considered armed and dangerous.

Both Trujillo and Gallegos have connections in Las Vegas, NM, and may have fled Albuquerque.
