FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify US Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the US Bank, 245 Vista Village Drive, Vista, California, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at approximately 2:12 p.m., the US Bank, 245 Vista Village Drive, Vista, California, was robbed by an unknown male threatening to have a gun. At the time of the robbery, the robber approached the teller counter and presented a demand note for cash. The robber threatened to have a gun on his person. The teller complied with the robber’s demands and provided him with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money the robber walked out of the bank. No injuries were reported and no weapon observed.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Approximately 30 years old
Height: Approximately 5’8” to 6’2”tall
Weight: Heavy
Build: Medium
Eyes: Unknown
Hair/Coloring: Dark
Clothing: Red baseball cap with letter “C” on front, blue hooded sweatshirt with “Hollywood Park” on front, dark sunglasses, dark pants, and black and white fingerless gloves
