Bank of Oklahoma Branch in Midwest City Robbed

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announces today’s robbery of the Bank of Oklahoma inside Crest Market located at 249 North Douglas Boulevard, Midwest City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 1:05 p.m., an unknown white male entered the bank and approached a teller at the teller counter. The male presented a note that stated, “100’s, 50’s, 20’s, Now!” The bank teller complied with the demand and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber gathered the money and was last seen leaving the grocery store southbound through the parking lot. No weapon was seen and no one was injured in today’s robbery.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 5’11” in height, 20 to 30 years of age, and weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds. He wore an orange Oklahoma State pullover hoodie, blue jeans, black snow cap with flowers on it and strings with black balls on the end, sunglasses, and black gloves.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Midwest City Police Department. Anyone with any information about this robbery may call the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the identification and/or arrest of any person robbing a member bank.
