Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Suspect in Everett Bank Robbery

The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and the Everett Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a bank robber who is alleged to have robbed an Everett, Massachusetts branch of the East Boston Savings Bank located at
1755 Revere Beach Parkway
. On March 3, 2011, at approximately , a white male, approximately 30 to 40 years old and 5’9” to 5’11” tall, wearing a brown leather jacket, scarf, baseball hat and dark gloves entered the bank. He demanded money from the teller and placed a package on the counter claiming it was a bomb, which was later determined by the FBI and Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squads to be a hoax device. After the teller gave him money, he fled on foot in an unknown direction. Bank surveillance cameras captured the following images of the robber.

The Massachusetts Bankers Association Tip Program is offering a reward for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber. Anyone with information regarding these robberies is asked to call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at (617) 742-5533.
