ATF Announces $5,000 Reward in Gun Theft

ST. PAUL — Special Agent in Charge Bernard J. Zapor of the St. Paul Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), announced today that ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the theft of firearms from Bluewater Bait and Sports in Bemidji, MN.

Several firearms were stolen in a burglary from Bluewater Bait and Sports, a federally licensed firearms dealer July 27.

ATF and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the theft.

“We are asking for the public’s help to recover these firearms and bring the person or persons responsible for this crime to justice,” said Zapor.
