A jury convicted a Willard man of child pornography crimes.
Karl J. Rogers, 34, is scheduled to be sentenced later this
year.
Rogers was convicted of one count of receipt of child
pornography. He knowingly received numerous images of minors engaged in
sexually explicit conduct. This took place between October and December 2017,
according to trial testimony and court documents.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation, the Mansfield Police Department and the Ohio Internet Crimes
Against Children Task Force and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney
Tracey Ballard Tangeman.
