ATF, NSSF Offer Reward for Jonesboro FFL Burglary


JONESBORO, Ark. —The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New Orleans Field Division is offering a $5,000 reward, along with a $5,000 reward from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, for a total of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the burglary of a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).

On Sep. 18, 2018, a burglary occurred at the United Pawn Brokers at 701 Gee Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401. Suspects broke into the business through the back wall and stole multiple firearms.

The ATF Little Rock Field Office and the Jonesboro Police Department are jointly investigating this crime. This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
