Greensboro U.S. Marshals Arrest Alleged Ex-Boyfriend in Connection with Teen Homicide



Durham, NC – On March 28, 2015, around 4:40 PM, Tierra Hall, a 17 year old female, was found dead behind a house in the 4100 block of Trotter Ridge Road. Hall was last seen on March 27, 2015 and investigators believe she was killed that afternoon. On March 30, 2015 warrants were issued for Kelton Breshon Fox, a 17 year old, Black Male for First Degree Murder by the Durham Police Department.

It is alleged that Fox had stabbed his 17 year old ex-girlfriend, Tierra Hall multiple times. Investigators identified Fox as the ex-boyfriend of the victim. The JFTF and the Durham Police Department conducted surveillance and interviews in an attempt to locate Fox. Their efforts paid off this morning at 10:10 AM when Fox was taken into custody without incident at 4110 Cherry Blossom Circle in Durham. Fox was transported to the Durham Police Department where he is currently being held on the alleged charges.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
