Suspect Arrested on Drug and Weapons Charges After Fleeing Alaska



This morning, a Wasilla resident wanted on an outstanding State of Alaska warrant for 5 counts of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substance 2, Misconduct Involving a Weapon 2 and 2 counts of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substance 4, was arrested by the U. S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Phoenix, Arizona. An investigation by the Alaska State Troopers Statewide Drug Enforcement Units from the Mat-Su Valley led to an arrest warrant being issued on July 30, 2012 for Bobby Allen Davis, a 57 year old man. Based upon a lengthy investigation that began in July of 2012, by the U.S. Marshals Alaska Fugitive Task, it was determined that Davis was residing in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Davis will be held in custody in Arizona pending his extradition to Alaska.

The Alaska Fugitive Task Force is a team comprised of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals, Homeland Security Investigations, Alaska State Troopers and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The objective of the task force is to seek out and arrest violent offenders with outstanding federal and state warrants.
