On Monday, April 30, 2012, at
approximately 11:45 a.m., a lone black female entered the Bank of America
located at 2475 South Cobb Drive in Smyrna, Georgia and, after approaching a
teller station, discreetly announced a robbery while presenting the teller with
a demand note. After the teller did not respond to this, the robber then
brandished and pointed a revolver-type handgun at the teller. After additional
non-response by the teller, the robber departed the bank without obtaining any
money.
The robber is described as being a black
female, mid-to-late 30s in age, approximately 5’5” tall, weighing approximately
150 lbs., wearing a black wig, off-white colored sweater, and dark sunglasses.
