Albuquerque Armed Bank Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque police are looking for a man who used a gun late Friday afternoon to rob BBVA Compass bank, 12001 Sierra Grande Ave. Northeast, near Juan Tabo Boulevard Northeast and Lomas Boulevard Northeast.

Nobody was injured.

Witnesses describe the subject as about 5'7" to 5'8", with a thin build. He's about 25-40 years old.

He wore a dark fishing-style cap, a black long-sleeve sweater with red stripes, khaki pants, and black tennis shoes. He carried a small to medium black backpack.

The man entered the bank at about 4:50 p.m. and pulled out a gun. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject.
