Incident Description: While returning to the fire department, Fire Chief Flint passed away from injuries he suffered in a motor vehicle crash when another vehicle coming from the opposite direction crossed over the center line. Assistant Fire Chief Sharon Petri, a passenger who was riding with Flint at the time of the accident, was injured and remains hospitalized. Investigation into the incident continues by local and state authorities.
