U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Robbery Suspect in Hanover



Scranton, PA – United States Marshal Martin Pane announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force arrested Tevin Johnson, 20, in Hanover, PA.

On September 24, 2015, the USMS in the Middle District of Pennsylvania arrested Johnson at a residence on Baltimore Street in Hanover, PA without incident. Johnson is wanted by the Hanover Boro Police Department for an armed home invasion robbery that occurred on 9/1/15. Johnson was turned over to local authorities pending prosecution.

United States Marshal Martin Pane stated, “The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force places a high priority on fugitive cases in which there is the use or threat of violence against innocent victims. Our community will not be a safe haven for those charged with such violent crimes. We will seek them out.”

The USMS worked jointly in this investigation with personnel from the Hanover Boro Police Department, York County Sheriff’s Office, York City Police Department, York County District Attorney and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
