At the request of the Lower Swatara Township Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in the Middle District of Pennsylvania (M/PA) began investigating the whereabouts of Strite. Information was developed by U.S. Marshals based in Harrisburg which indicated Strite may still be in the area.

Earlier today, U.S. Marshals Service personnel located and arrested Strite without incident in the 3600 block of Walnut Street.

Strite was also wanted by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole and the Dauphin County Adult Probation Office on separate parole / probation violation warrants.

Strite, 37-years old, was lodged at the Dauphin County Prison to await proceedings concerning his multiple open warrants.

United States Marshal Martin J. Pane stated, “It is law enforcement’s top priority to arrest violent offenders, especially those who have no regard for human life”.
