The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the armed robbery of the Washington Savings Bank branch located at 2548 East Lehigh Avenue earlier today.
At approximately , the subject entered the bank and threatened a teller with a knife. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the subject placed into a bag or satchel that he was carrying, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot and was last seen on Lehigh heading towards Richmond Street .
The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s, 6’2” tall, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, and black gloves.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
