Reward Offered for Information Regarding Royal Palace Attempted Arson



Attempted Arson at Royal Palace Convenience Market

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The New York Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is announcing a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the attempted arson that occurred on Feb. 16, 2014 at 452 Parsells Ave. in Rochester resulting in property damage.

“This senseless and cowardly act will be aggressively investigated,” said ATF New York Field Division Acting Special Agent in Charge James S. Higgins. “ATF is committed and steadfast in our resolve to keep the public safe and apprehend the individuals who committed this act, the public deserves nothing less.”

The investigation is being conducted by ATF in conjunction with Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department Fire Investigations Unit and the Rochester Arson Task Force investigators.

ATF and the Rochester Police, Fire and Arson Task Force urge the public to provide any information that would lead investigators to those responsible for this brazen act of violence and destruction.
