Cops 4 Causes is excited to announce that Deana Carter will headline this year's Cops 4 Causes -A Salute to Heroes. The benefit will be held in Ventura, California, July 15, 2006 on the California Street Promenade located at 364 S. California Street. Proceeds from the benefit concert, silent auction, and dinner hosted and served by the men and women of the Ventura Police Officers Association, will be donated to Special Olympics Ventura County.
This year’s event will also include live performances by the band Thunder Road and Crosby Loggins. Honorary Celebrity Chairs Wendi McLendon-Covey, who plays Dep. Clementine Johnson on Comedy Central's hit show Reno 911, and California State Assembly Member, Pedro Nava will host the Platinum Sponsor Celebrity VIP reception to be held at the "Top of the Harbor" of the Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel.
