Blue H.E.L.P. has been the leader in collection, analysis, and dissemination
of law enforcement suicide data for the last 5 years. In response to ever
increasing demand for data, we are releasing our first “Numbers” page that
will allow users to select and sort data by different variables. We have
published the data most commonly requested.
While we will not identify specific officers or agencies through the
“Numbers” page, we remind everyone that each data set was an officer who
served their community and is loved by their family. Officers like Frank
Stabile who served his community for 25 years; his 8 months at the site of
the 9/11 terrorist attacks damaged the young officer in ways we can never
imagine. Despite the trauma, Frank continued to have a long and decorated
career and exemplified what it meant to be a New York State Trooper.
If you don’t find the data you are looking for, please feel free to reach out
to us at contact@bluehelp.org to
see if we can provide you other details.
