The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Fire Department Chief: Pending

Incident Description: Fire Chief Fox died from injuries sustained when the roof of a burning bar and grill collapsed on him. Two other firefighters on the interior attack team were injured but according to reports were pushed outside of the structure by Chief Fox just before the collapse. They were both transported to the hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Investigation into the cause of the fire and fatality continues by local and state authorities.

Funeral Arrangements: Visitation will be 04/09/2012 from 1000-2100hrs, and on 04/10/2012, 1000-1400hrs, followed immediately by services at the Trinity Assembly of God, 1141 Southwest ST, Decaturville, TN 38329 (telephone: 731-852-4477).
